Our founder, Jason Burgess, after working in the technology space for 8 years, decided to enter the nonprofit space in 2003. He began this journey by working with a large nonprofit in the Memphis area, where he served as the director of development. He quickly realized that he could use his talents to improve efficiency at the nonprofit, while at the same time “doing good” to help the community that he lived in. From that point on, he focused on developing solutions to help nonprofits and furthering his expertise in nonprofit management. In 2010, he joined Higginbotham & Drescher, a nonprofit consulting firm, based in Nashville, Tennessee. Since then, he has helped numerous nonprofits across the United States by developing fundraising strategies, strengthening boards through board development sessions and implementing technology solutions to empower the organizations to be more effective and efficient. As we have evolved, our goal was to be a company that offered more than just products– it would be a company that helped organizations embrace new ways of thinking about marketing and donor management through innovative, customized service.
Today, we not only continue to offer those customized services, but we’ve also expanded our reach to include products that encourage nonprofits to make the most of their resources. The helping people part hasn’t changed.
